Abstract:
This paper employs research methods of literature review and case analysis to summarize the intrinsic characteristics of unleashing sports consumption potential to propel the high-quality development in the sports industry, exploring the mechanisms and pathways through which this potential can drive the development. The study concludes that sports consumption release provides sustained momentum for the industry's growth through value conversion, supply-demand equilibrium, multiplier effects, innovation-driven approaches, and market mechanism optimization. Future efforts should focus on overcoming practical bottlenecks such as the lagging consumption culture, insufficient high-quality supply, shallow industrial integration, weak innovation capacity, and imperfect governance systems. By addressing value conversion barriers, achieving the dynamic supply-demand equilibrium, fully unleashing multiplier effects, enhancing development momentum, and refining market mechanisms, new growth points in sports consumption can be expanded to comprehensively advance the high-quality development of sports industry.
