Abstract: Based on the panel data of 57 national sports industry demonstration bases from 2016 to 2020, the influence of high-quality development of national sports industry demonstration base on regional total factor productivity and the difference were investigated. It is found that its high-quality development has a significant promoting effect on the regional total factor productivity, with infrastructure, market environment and other variables more prominent. And, under the influence of good economic advantages and transportation level, its high-quality development in eastern China can significantly promote the growth of regional total factor productivity. Also, under the influence of demographic dividend, the high-quality development of the national sports industry demonstration base can significantly promote the growth of regional total factor productivity. Based on the above conclusions, to give full play to the social and economic effects of the demonstration base, suggestions are put forward as follows: to strengthen top-level designs to improve the high-quality development of the national base; to adhere to the local conditions to optimize the industry structure layout of the demonstration base; to promote factor support to release the agglomeration effect of the national base.
