Abstract:
At present, the protection of the right to sports for the elderly presents a multidimensional complex pattern in practice. At the information level, there is a lack of ways for the elderly to obtain scientific sports guidance, which leads to the blind choice of sports. At the resource level, there exist insufficient number of sports venues, imbalanced distribution and irrelevance facilities, which restricts the development of physical activities for the elderly. At the level of the implementation of policies and regulations, there is a disconnect between the relevant policies and the actual implementation, which affects the effectiveness of the protection, etc. In view of this, this paper takes the right to sports for the elderly and the basic theory of sport-medicine integration as the starting point, to analyse in depth the focus of sport-medicine integration to promote the protection of the right to sports for the elderly, as well as the historical, theoretical and practical logic between the two. And it tries to establish the concept of sports-medicine integration, which is to "healthcare for sport, sport as an alternative to healthcare". At the same time, it focuses on building a practical system for the protection of the right in six areas: strengthening the foundation of rights and interests, meeting the demand for sports, changing the concept of cognition, gathering synergies to protect the right to sports, improving the quality of services and releasing the vitality of the government, so that it will encourages more elderly people to dare to, and be able to, participate in sports and to open up a new way for the protection of the right to sports of the elderly, and to promote the cause of elderly sports to move towards a new journey of high-quality development.
