Abstract:
Under the national strategy of actively responding to population aging, it is necessary to leverage the mediating role of the physical health of older adults and promote sports to facilitate healthy aging. In response to the problems in China such as the lack of targeted monitoring indicators for the physical health of older adults, the limited coverage of the monitored population, the incomplete service loop for regular monitoring and precise intervention, the lack of integration and sharing of monitoring data, and the insufficiency of public fitness services for older adults, strategies are proposed, including optimizing the monitoring indicator system for the physical health of older adults with a focus on physical functions, developing intelligent new tools for the full chain of services promoting the physical health of older adults, designing standardized service models for promoting the physical health of older adults, establishing an open and shared database of the physical health of older adults, and building a new system for promoting the physical health of the older adults through the collaborative efforts of sports, medicine and nursing care. These strategies aim to explore the establishment of a Chinese path of promoting healthy aging through sports.
