Abstract:
Knowledge is the core of a discipline, and the construction of a knowledge system is the foundation of the "Three Major Systems". This study employs the methods of literature review, comparison and logical analysis to explore the logical starting point and fundamental categories of the independent knowledge system of Chinese kinesiology, and proposes the future paths for its theoretical construction. It is found that physical activity refers to bodily movements induced by skeletal muscle contraction that consume energy above the basal metabolic rate, with clear purpose and potential to advance physical and mental well-being. Taking physical activity as the logical starting point of the independent knowledge system of Chinese kinesiology can enhance the inclusiveness of its knowledge system, highlight its exclusiveness, integrate the embodied nature inherent in kinesiology knowledge, and satisfy the three qualitative stipulations for a logical starting point. The independent knowledge system of Chinese kinesiology encompasses three dimensions of knowledge: technical knowledge, academic knowledge, and professional knowledge. Centered on physical activity as its logical starting point, these three dimensions constitute a three-dimensional framework of the kinesiology knowledge system. To construct an independent body of knowledge in China, it is necessary to adhere to Marxist theoretical guidance, enhance the integration of technical knowledge that unifies localization and internationalization, promote the innovation of academic knowledge based on China's unique disciplinary system, and improve the precision of professional knowledge to meet the demands of the future sports market.
