Philosophical Reflections on Technology and Physical Education in the Post-human EraBased on the Investigation of Bernard Stigler's "Epiphylogenesis"

Based on Bernard Stiegler's meaning of "epiphylogenesis", this paper makes a philosophical debate on the technology and physical education in the era of "post-human" society, so as to explain the human survival situation in the era of intelligent science and technology. In order to explore the "difference of human" and the origin of life in the context of "epiphylogenesis", physical education, as the first origin of biological "phylogenesis" and as the second origin of technical "epiphylogenesis", can become the survival issue of human historical existence. On "human limit", the "prosthetic" manipulation of technology seeks the "practical" remedy of physical education in the coupling of body functions; while in the shaping of the life world, the "ethics" of technology challenges the "humanistic" care of physical education. And, in the evolution of human nature, the enhancement of the "intelligence" of technology requires the "barbaric" return of physical education; in the "epiphylogenesis", there is a philosophical topic of common speculation between "technology" and "physical education". Facing the "human future" of the rational criticisms of technology, industrial society, capitalism, commodity fetishism, entertainment to death, body static, technical ethics and alienated labor, physical education can go deep into the discourse system of "post-human" and diagnose and treat the body, care for life, and guide survival, which has become a philosophical proposition that human beings have to reflect on in the era of intelligent technology.
