Theoretical Explanation, Value Implication and Development Path of Deep Learning in Physical Education and Health Courses

  • Deep learning, different from shallow learning, has gradually emerged in the field of education with its advantages in recent years. Integrated into the physical education and health curriculum under the concept of core literacy, deep learning can not only improve students' interest in participating in physical education learning, help to cultivate students' awareness and habits of lifelong exercise and complete the promotion and creation of their life value, but also play the role of "high-level" education in school physical education. Strengthening the deep learning of physical education and health courses has important practical value for students to develop their core literacy, that is, to promote the improvement of their sports ability with effective reflection and skill transfer, to promote the development of their healthy behaviors with real situation and deep interaction, and to promote the shaping of their sports morality with in-depth experience and positive dialogue. The development paths of deep learning in physical education and health courses mainly include: improving students' level of learning to learn and cultivating their higher-order thinking ability; enhancing teachers' deep teaching ability and creating quality learning environments; promoting the empowered digital resources thus to enhance their course learning experience.
