The New Trend of Global Value Chain and Its Implication to the Development of Sporting Goods Industry in China

Based on the theory of global value chain, the paper discusses the status quo and trend of the sporting goods industry in China. It reveals that the new trend of global value chain theory reveals to be "technology spillover effect" and"Internet+", highlighted by fragmented production, which has broken through the traditional value chain evolution path. It points out that sporting goods industry in our country should take advantage of the technology spillover effect brought by production fragmentation to speed up the value chain upgrade, accelerate the industry integration and innovate the new model of value chain upgrading in accordance with the Internet+ trend.
