The Application of Interview in School Physical Education Research in China

The study analyzed the standardization of interview method used in the physical education academic papers in sports journals collected by the Chinese Social Science Index in the last five years.The results show that the practice of interview lacks the overall design on methodology level, with no detailed description of every element in the interview method.Second, there exists the abusing or misusing different types of interview methods, with a deficiency in the scientific data process.Further, the reliability and validity on the results of interviewing are inadequate.And lastly, the ethical issues on the application of the method have not been involved.The study provides the standard procedures of interview method for the purpose of promoting its application quality.
