Construction of Sports-Characteristic Town: Foreign Experience and China's Path

Using literature review, the study reviews the development context and the success in the construction of sports towns in developed countries.It reveals that the construction of sports towns in developed countries has undergone three stages of breeding, rapid development and maturing, with the focus on the supporting system construction, the formation of a sound sports industry chain and the sports culture heritage.The suggestion is put forward as follows:to strengthen the guidance of top-level design, divide the scope of government responsibilities rationally, foster medium organizations, improve the subdivision of goals, and play multiple functions.
