Analysis of Indicator Dimensions of London's Constructing the World Renowned Sports City and Enlightenment

Based on the five indicator dimensions of world renowned sports city, this study, took London as an example, analyzed the current situation of London's sports development in major sporting events, professional sports clubs, mass sports, sports infrastructures and sports industry.Finally, suggestions were given to Shanghai as follows:to improve the leadership of the municipal government, enrich the sport culture with Shanghai characteristics, build the city of mass sports, enhance sports infrastructures and develop sports industry.
