Ologit-based Analysis of Factors Affecting Campus Football Performance

  • This study uses Ologit Model to discuss the relevant effect between the school competition performance ranking in Campus Football League Matches and players' skills test achievements with the data of the results of 2016 and 2017 Youth Campus Football League matches and individual football skill tests in the pilot area of comprehensive education reform of the National Institute of Education Science. The main conclusions are as follows:① Baffle passing and ball-around shooting are the key factors affecting the team's performance, and there is a significant positive correlation with the team's performance.Baffle passing and ball-around technology has a greater impact on team's performance; while the 10-meter return running and ball-throwing technology have no statistical significance on team's performance.② The influence of 10-meter return running with the ball on the primary school group becomes significant, but the impact of this technology on the junior high school group is not significant. It can be seen that the 10-meter return run with the ball may not be a very suitable project to measure the technical level of young players.③ A significant positive correlation between middle school players' playing skills and team performance can be found; ④ Regardless of the whole sample or the grouping sample, the number of professional teams in the city where the players belong and the team performance show a significant positive correlation, indicating that the stronger the football atmosphere in the city, the better the team performance.
