  • Utilizing the methods of data mining and statistics, the study analyzed the sports participation features of the Second Citizen Games in Shanghai, surrounding the natural structure, competition structure, event structure, regional structure and space structure.Combined with the influence factors of sports participation of citizens games, the study put forward the optimization strategy of Shanghai residents' sports participation:to establish the life style of sport for senior citizens; to cultivate the juvenile's sport participation and interest; to guide the citizen to take the individualized and specialized sporting event; and to improve the social sports participation by way of social organizations.
