A Review of Studies on Chinese Wushu Translation: Trend, Achievement and Problem

The study conducted a visualized analysis of 39 articles on Wushu translation cited by Chinese core journals and thus reviewed Wushu translation from the aspects of target languages, quantities of publication, and research distribution.It holds that studies on Wushu translation mainly focus on the translation in some specific fields, Wushu literature translation and translation strategies.It points out the existing problems in Chinese Wushu translation studies as follows:the research achievements were not abundant; the research field was narrowly defined; the research corpus were largely from the domestic; the research method lacked variety; and the target languages were not duly diversified, etc.
