Discourse Space and Relationship Structure of Running Community: Taking "Beijing Runners" Group as an Example

The word frequency analysis and social network analysis are used to analyze 1 713 chat records among 1 604 members of QQ group "Beijing Runners" on the day of 2018 "Beijing Marathon" and 2019 "Naked Run", trying to explore the discourse space and relationship structure within the running community.It is found that:the running community is centered on "body" and interacts with space and body all the time; members who join the running community are mainly motivated by social support; and the interest community is largely for entertainment or information exchange. The running community has a more solemn community interaction ceremony but a shorter interaction chain, and its internal structure is simpler, with higher sparsity, mobility and "narrow and shallow" structural attributes.
