Strategic Thinking and Realization Path of China's Sports Diplomacy in the New Development Stage

Entering a new stage of development, it is necessary to accurately grasp the opportunities and challenges of sports diplomacy to promote sports diplomacy in the major changes in the world unseen in a century, and to establish the strategic goals and tasks of the development from the perspective of the great rejuvenation strategy of the Chinese nation. The research suggests that the development of China's sports diplomacy should be promoted in six aspects: international sports cooperation to build a shared community for human health; "double cycle" service construction to promote the higher opening level of sports; good host diplomacy at the Beijing Winter Olympics to create a good national image; cultural exchanges for sport to enhance mutual understanding; multilateralism practice to take an active part in global sports governance; bilateral and multilateral cooperation in sports to promote the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
