Reviews on and Analysis of the Development of Scientific Sports Training in China

For decades China has tried hard to improve the levels of scientific sports training and produced fruitful achievements in multi-layered and multi-dimensional way in the aspects of the definition of core concepts, structural adjustment of theory system, the evolution of performances ability theory, and the establishment of training plans, etc., which has contributed greatly to the excellence of Chinese athletes in international competitions. It is held that the road to the success of scientific sports training theory and practice in China, based on the strong confidence in path and theory, should adhere to cultural inheritance and innovation, and expand reform and opening up. By focusing on the study of basic theories and associating them closely with the practical training demands, the Chinese school of sports training science will be established to improve the levels of scientific training gradually.
