Rational Review and Practical Strategy for the Education of Sports Artificial Intelligence Graduate Program

  • The directions, basic requirements and potential challenges of sports artificial intelligence in graduate program are explored , thereafter the practical strategies in the new era are proposed. It holds that the graduate program for the sports artificial intelligence involves four directions: competitive sports, mass sports, physical education and sports industry. Kinesiology acts as the dominating discipline, interdisciplinary being the principle method for the implementation of the program for sports artificial intelligence graduate students, and the ultimate goal is to establish the education system of its own. At present the challenges are faced with the lacking of top-level design, weak teaching staff, differed knowledge background and insufficient high-level research platforms. For the education of sports artificial intelligence, it proposes that: the policy of "national discipline system" should be used to improve the top-level design of the program; the students' artificial intelligence literacy be enhanced to solidify its foundation; diverse sports AI teaching staff be established to broaden the program channels; sports artificial intelligence education platform be created to highlight the demonstration effect of the program by jointly collaborating with well-known domestic and foreign universities, laboratories and enterprises.
