Abstract
In the process of learning physical skills, cultivating students' correct values is the kernel to ideological and political education in physical education courses. Starting from a sociological perspective, this article selects the practical experience of the author's volleyball-specific elective course during the undergraduate period to conduct an academic narrative, which enables the research to move towards the microcosm, return to practice, and enter into life. From the experience presented in the cases, it can be seen that in volleyball-specific courses, the establishment of the values of the learning subject is the result of the continuous generation of multidimensional identification accompanied by the process of learning physical skills. In competitive practice, the learning subject further "understands" the body techniques obtained in specialized courses, meanwhile their value system is deepened and updated. In the process of identity transformation, the learning subject utilizes the core values obtained from specialized courses to achieve the goal of "upward mobility", realizing the "reproduction" of education, and elevating the value system. It is proposed that the key of ideological and political education in physical education curriculum lies in the personality of the curriculum. In addition, the current research paradigm of ideological and political education needs to expand academic horizons and bring forth new theories.
