Abstract: The traditional and hegemonic tendency of cultural value is the cultural foundation of American sport cultural hegemony; while the American economic power and technological advantage as well as its Cold War mentality and successful experience, together with the disadvantages of China are the realistic foundation of American sport cultural hegemony.American sport cultural hegemony has a great impact on the composition of Chinese sport culture as well as the ideal and belief among the young people.Therefore, we should improve the competitive level of professional sport in our country, strengthen the social awareness of the socialist core value system, and make reasonable restriction on the malicious expansion of American sport.
