Abstract: Sport development keeps pace with time development, so China's sport in the new era should plan the goal and task clinging to the era theme.The study discusses the role of sport in economic construction, political construction, cultural construction, social construction and ecological civilization construction.The sport's promotion in these "Five Constructions" is not only inevitable for socialist construction with Chinese characteristics, but also the core content of sport power construction.The stronger promotion will produce the greater strategic development space for sport itself.
