Abstract:
In the era of artificial intelligence, robot journalists can automatically generate sports news under robot learning technology. However, the copyrightability of its creation needs to be tested in terms of originality, authorship, and scope of rights. From the perspective of "originality", the difference between traditional creation and robot reporters lies in the level of human "spiritual content".From the "author" point of view, it is more appropriate to treat its owner as an author. From the viewpoint of right protection, software owners should be regarded as authors. In China's existing copyright law, the originality of sports news created by robot reporters needs to be determined on a case-by-case basis.Under the premise of originality, it is appropriate to regulate it with legal person works. It can be predicted that the more news reporters get involved in sports news coverage, the greater the impact on the traditional copyright system. It is necessary to build legal regulations for artificial intelligence creations in China.
