Abstract:
The study explores the hotspot and tendency of international exercises intervention in the falls in the elderly people.The results show that there is an increasing tendency of research papers being published all around the world; countries that publish the most articles are United States, Australia, England and Canada, etc.Interdisciplinary studies are dominated by geriatrics, sports medicine and rehabilitation medicine.The research institutes are mainly made up of universities in the United States and Australia, and major research teams are formed by productive authors in the same region, and the regional cooperation can be obviously seen in Europe.The journals that publish these articles are mainly geriatrics and general medical ones.Fund projects reflect the sponsorship support of health related medical institutions in the United States, The research focuses on the epidemiological study of accidental falls in the elderly, as well as the interventions on resistance, balance, body vibration and endurance training on aspects of balance, gait, physical function of different types of the elderly.Conclusion proves that the fall problem of aged people has been paid much attention to.The study of exercise intervention on fall in the elderly reflects the trend of "sports are medicines", and intervention of multiple exercises is more effective on prevention on accidental falls in the elderly.
