Abstract:
Based on literature review and field research, this study explored the problems of the land use policy that nongovernmental sectors run sports venues. The problems are concluded as follows:difficult to access to the right of land use or project license when investing green space and old factory buildings for sports venue construction, lacking in venue planning guidance and the preferential policies of property tax as well as urban land use tax, etc. Based on the successful experience of the nongovernmental sectors to invest in venue in the cities of Wenzhou and Guangzhou, this study offers the suggestions:to increase the land supply for sport, encourage the land supply to nongovernmental sectors in the form of leasing, complete the planning and approval formalities for the use of sports venues with non-sports land, develop the planning guidelines for the use of non-sports land and mixed-use land and optimize the policies of property tax and urban land use tax and other countermeasures.
