Abstract:
A comprehensive evaluation of the development status of sports industry during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period in China is conducted. Prospects for the development strategy are put forward based on the development stage of sports industry as well as the opportunities and challenges it faces. It is believed that the overall progress of sports industry during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period has exceeded expectations with the high completion rate of main goals and quantitative indicators. In the future, sports industry in China will be in the development stage of "mixed" models, with sports service industry domination, in-depth industrial integration, prominent home field effects, perfect governance systems and explosive growth in consumer demand. At the same time, it will also face many challenges such as instability of international external environment, iteration of new and old products and services, changes in the social demographic structure and continuation of COVID-19 epidemic. The policy recommendations for the development of sports industry in the future are proposed from the angles of building a dual-cycle pattern of sports industry, promoting the development of smart sports and digital sports, improving the performance level of competition performance industry, developing outdoor sports industry, promoting industrial integration and creating new consumption spaces and scenes.
