Abstract: "Sports and Medicine Integration" is an important issue which requires further exploration in both theory and practice. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, Wuhan Fangcang shelter hospitals(rapidly built temporary hospitals) came up with the specific strategy to promote the recovery of patients by adopting the "Sports and Medicine Integration".The case study method of Wuhan Fangcang shelter hospitals was used and the research logic of "action background-motivation-scheme-effect" was constructed with grounded theory as the process analysis framework for "Sports and Medicine Integration". The concept of "Fangcang Shelter Hospital Mode" was defined, and the four elements of operation objectives, implementation subjects, treatment groups and risk mechanism were explored, plus the relationship between the elements. It is held that the "Fangcang Shelter Hospital Mode" can promote the integration of sports and medicine both in concept and technology innovation, as well as the range and category of service objects.
