Abstract: As the core driving force of technological revolution and industrial transformation, artificial intelligence is the main feature and trend of future social development. The understanding of sport value caused by AlphaGo is chosen as the starting point to explore the sport value orientation and expression in the era of artificial intelligence. It holds that the rise of artificial intelligence makes mankind gradually fall into the worry of being "surpassed" by artificial intelligence machines, and then question the human value in AlphaGo, which, essentially, is caused by the cognitive limitation to artificial intelligence and the positioning deviation for sport value. People's sports participation process and emotional experience are not only the real residence of sport value, but also the way to dispel human anxiety, therefore it is needed to change the way of understanding sport value. The development of artificial intelligence technology should be regarded as a positive driving force to promote sport development, thus the connotation of sport value will be deepened on the basis of people's sports participation and emotional experience to highlight the unique value of sports humanities in artificial intelligence education research.
