Abstract: The data mining is conducted from the literature that are related to sports biomechanics in sports core journals from 2000 to 2020 by methods of bibliometrics, focusing on the number of literature published, keyword group, year of literature cited and other parameters. The percentage of literature in this field was in the shape of Chinese character "几", with a high percentage appearing from 2008 to 2014. The keyword groups such as "kinematics", "kinematics analysis" and "sports technique" were constantly appearing in high-frequency, while the number of keyword groups in low frequency increased in recent years. The mean of maximum continuous year of direct/indirect citation totally showed a decreasing trend, while the standard deviation of the mean value of the two kinds of year decreased. In the field of sports biomechanics, the number and influence of literature are declining, with a state of diversified and weakening hot spot research in recent years.
