Abstract:
Exploring the professional development stage of special-grade middle school physical education teachers can better help them in primary and secondary schools to examine themselves, empower their professional development, improve their teaching quality and efficiency, and help their high quality development in the new era. It is found that the professional development of special-grade middle school physical education teachers mainly goes through five stages of "adaptation stage (1-5 years), stability stage (6-10 years), transformation stage (11-20 years), maturity stage (21-30 years) and transcendence stage (>30 years)". Independent of each other, each stage includes the former step by step and deepens in an orderly manner, characteristic of being advanced, tortuous, transitional and critical. Based on this, a theoretical model on the professional development stage of special-grade middle school physical education teachers is constructed and suggestions provided: Ordinary physical education teachers should take special-grade teachers as goals, benchmark the "five stages" to sort out their own development path, set their development pace, clarify their professional advancement path, find the breakthroughs and cultivate professional growth points. Also, they should grasp the turning points and critical development periods, cherish figures and key events at each stage, and strive to cross the two barriers in the first and second half of professional advancement.
