Effects and Mechanism of Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation on Improving Human Motor Ability from the Neurobiomechanical Perspective

  • 摘要: 基于国内外最新研究进展,聚焦无创脑刺激技术,特别是无创深部脑刺激——相位干涉电场刺激(temporal interference brain stimulation,TIs),探讨其对提升人体运动能力的影响及其相关机制。详细分析TIs技术精准调控深部脑区以增强运动皮层兴奋性,促进运动技能学习,并提升下肢爆发力的作用机制。同时,探讨TIs对运动认知功能的潜在调节作用及其在帕金森病等运动功能障碍疾病治疗中的应用及前景,突出其非侵入性、聚焦深部脑区、位置及参数可调等独特优势。此外,介绍脑肌互作神经启动技术,它结合了无创脑刺激与肌肉电刺激技术,通过同步调节脑和肌肉的功能,进一步优化运动控制与执行系统以提升运动能力。未来研究应聚焦多学科协作,推动技术应用拓展、智能化集成以及运动科技新质生产力发展,以充分释放无创脑刺激技术在提升运动表现、增强运动认知功能及治疗运动功能障碍方面的潜能。

     

    Abstract: Based on the latest research progress both domestically and internationally, this paper focuses on non-invasive brain stimulation techniques, particularly non-invasive deep brain stimulation—temporal interference brain stimulation (TIs) and explores its impact on enhancing human motor ability and related neural mechanisms. The article provides a detailed analysis of the mechanism of the action of TIs technology, including its precise modulation of deep brain regions to enhance motor cortex excitability, promote motor learning and skill optimization, and improve lower limb explosive power. Additionally, it discusses the potential regulatory effects of TIs on cognitive function and its application and prospects in the treatment of movement disorders such as Parkinson's disease, highlighting its unique advantages of non-invasiveness, deep brain region targeting, and adjustable location and parameters for brain stimulation. Furthermore, a new technique is introduced in the end, that is, the brain-muscle interaction neuropriming technique integrates noninvasive brain stimulation techniques with muscle electrical stimulation techniques, optimizing the motor control and execution systems by synchronously regulating the functional networks of the brain and muscles to enhance motor ability. Future research should focus on the multidisciplinary collaboration to promote technology application expansion, intelligent integration, and the development of new quality productive forces in sports technology, in order to fully unleash the potential of non-invasive brain stimulation technology in enhancing motor performance, improving cognitive functions, and treating movement disorders.
