Abstract:
With the popular trend of Chinese style fitness and China-Chic health concept in contemporary society, it further promotes the continuous growth of traditional sports consumption. This study uses KANO model and supply-demand matching evaluation model to theoretically construct and empirically study the degree of supply-demand matching in the traditional sports consumption market. The results show that: ① On the demand side, there are essential, expected, and attractive elements in physical-, participatory-, or spectator-type traditional sports consumption. The demands of consumer groups at different ages and levels of exercise exhibit different attributes in some consumption content compared to the overall demand level. ② On the supply side, various types of traditional sports exhibit different supply quality in different dimensions. Physical traditional sports lack reliability, participatory traditional sports lack responsiveness, and spectator sports lack popularity. ③ In terms of supply-demand matching, traditional sports consumption generally shows that demand exceeds supply in various types of supply-demand relationships, and the matching degree is still acceptable, with matching differences in various specific dimensions though. Therefore, it is proposed to cultivate segmented markets and promote active integration of supply and demand, deepen value co-creation and promote efficient supply-demand collaboration, and innovate development momentum to promote dynamic supply-demand balance.
