Abstract:
Being a new concept to reflect the ability of individual's comprehensive movement, the motor quotient (MQ) plays an important role in the individual's development, school physical education and social development. The study states that the present study on motor quotient has such problems as unclear definition of the concept, insufficient theoretical construction and measurements validity. It concludes that the study on motor quotient should not only combine the theories, techniques and methods of social and natural sciences, but take into account of its own features. It should construct its unique theory and research models, thus to give full play to research results in education and clinical practice.
