Abstract: Sport Competition Anxiety Test, Coach Leadership Style Scale et al were used to examine the table tennis and badminton professional athletes. The method of Bootstrap was employed to investigate the mediating role of the achievement motivation to the relationship between the coach leadership style and the athletes' competition anxiety. The result shows that there is a positive correlation between democratic leadership and athletes' competitive anxiety; and that ego orientation of the specific goal mediates the relationship between democratic coach leadership and athletes' competitive anxiety.
