Abstract: By the methods of simulation official matches, simulation TV broadcast, questionnaires and kinematic test, the study examined and analyzed the observation effect, velocity and rotational speed of the colored plastic balls.The results showed that the velocity and rotational speed of the balls decreased significantly after reaching the opponent'table, the colored plastic balls could improve the ornamental value of the table tennis matches, and the white and orange with black stripes of the plastic ball was the ideal choice.
