Abstract: The study conducted the analysis regarding the impact of sport industry on the economic powerhouse construction, and its future development strategy.The results conclude that sport industry is considered as the integration of happiness industry, sunrise industry and green industry in China.Sport industry not only helps change the mode of economic development, adjust the industrial structure, expand the domestic demand, increase the employment opportunities and labor efficiency, but helps reduce the medical expenditure.To promote the development of sports industry, we should start with changing ideas, completing market mechanism, and promoting the development of sports events industry, as well as promoting the industrial integration, optimizing the development environment, setting up the service platform, and promoting the sport consumption and so on.
