Abstract: On the basis of sorting out the extraordinary achievements made in the protection of the sports intangible cultural heritage in China, this study analyzes its new mission in China from 2020 to the middle of this century and explores its future journey in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.The result shows that the management system of sports intangible cultural heritage will be formed and the modernization of governance capacity for the government and the public as participators will be realized in the new era.It will become one of the hallmarks of the rich, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful socialist modernization country and the public will enjoy a happier and healthier lifestyle.It will stands in the world of nations and become the valuable asset to serve all the people.
