Abstract:
The study discussed Wushu's development, Wushu and human nature, Wushu's cultural status, the alienation of Wushu theories as well as Wushu education, etc, by using "blind spot" theory. The study states that the researchers are still in a subconscious state towards the understanding of Wushu's development. And the evaluation system is not completed either. The study holds that human need should be considered the internal reason for Wushu's existence and development. The cultural status of Wushu appears to be seemingly strong although it is practically weak. Finally, some issues are to be further explored, including the alienation of Wushu theories, the traditional education value in Wushu, and the value of the modern school Wushu education etc.
