Abstract: Based on the concept of the theories of middle range, the study explored its system construction and elaborated the content production path for the middle range theory of sports sociology-inductive study for specific topics and deductive theory construction.The study holds that the present study on middle range theory is seriously lagged, with some hollow tendency in the theory system.It put forward some suggestions on the construction of middle range theory for sports sociology, that is, double wheels are used to improve its theory construction from distraction to contraction, and from extension to expansion.Research groups are built; other related academic areas should be expanded to break the academic borders, thus the substantial and practical theory system construction of middle range in sports sociology will come true.
