Abstract: From the perspective of traditional poetic culture as well as the effect of poetic thinking on the awareness and modes of sports leisure, the study explores the common root of poetic culture and leisure sports and illustrates the influencing mechanism of poetic aesthetic value and regional differences on local leisure sports' awareness and modes.It holds that people participating leisure sports should depart from stereotyped thinking and professional thinking while respect the casualness of self-leisure thinking.The overall plan of local sports leisure should enhance the protection of sports intangible cultural heritage on the basis of stressing the general sports leisure.The application of traditional poetic culture in leisure sports projects'overall arrangement and organization management should be actively promoted and traditional poetic cultural thinking should cultivate and guide peoples' leisure awareness and participation modes.
