Abstract: With the increasing emphasis on the economic and cultural value of sports, investment activities in the sports industry are booming.The situation of China's overseas investment in sports industry in recent years is studied. It is found out that China's overseas sports industry investment will be faced with merger-related risks, legal regulation risks of host states, risks of domestic policies change, cultural risks and moral hazard, etc. Hence the appropriate solutions(like CAS or ICSID)are put forward to handle the commercial and investment disputes when Chinese investors participate in overseas sports industry, thus to guarantee the interests of Chinese overseas investors.
