Abstract:
In the course of human life, can sports participation break the boundaries of class inequality of health? The method of health growth curve model is used to verify it.The results show that with the aging of the residents, the class inequality of the health shows a gradually expanding trend, but their sport participation process can significantly alleviate it; and if the lower social groups adhere to sports in the life course, their health status will gradually be better than those middle-class groups who do not participate in sports often. It is held that sport participation in the course of people's life can partly break the boundary of class inequality in health. Therefore, this empirical evidence, under the framework of structuralism theory and individualism theory, not only helps urge people to form good exercise habits, but improves the theoretical system of healthy society, by introducing health problems into the life course for longitudinal observation and textual research.
