Abstract:
Based on globalisation and the development reality of Chinese society, the methodological significance of post-social development theory to understand sport health is discussed, and the viewpoint of physical exercise for health replaced by sport health is put forward with the development trend of social health. It is argued that the high emotion, low cost and active participation for sport health make the concept of transmission-based communication unsuitable for interpreting sport health communication. The concept of health communication based on the cognitive framework of "knowing-trusting-acting" does not fit in with the attributes of sport health communication. Health communication in sport is redefined from a ritualistic view of communication: the construction of sport health culture will be completed through the sharing of knowledge, experience, emotion and meaning in physical activities by individuals.
