Abstract:
The digital transformation of sport governance is the systematic integration of digital technology and sport governance. It is of great significance to promote the digital transformation of sport governance to realize its modernization, but the existence of "technology paradox" in the transformation practice hinders the performance of digital technology. Using literature review, logical analysis and comparative analysis, this study, based on the connotation of digital transformation of sport governance, explores the four manifestations of the "technological paradox" in practice including technological failure, power imbalance, governance distortion and institutional failure. And, insufficient technology adaptation, lagging conceptual change, slow system innovation, and lack of subject ability are the main reasons to induce the paradox. Suggestions are proposed as follows: to adhere to the scenario-based governance to promote its "adaptive" transformation of digital technology; follow the people-centered concept to accelerate the concept transformation; obey the multi-subject value co-creation to steadily promote the system optimization; and combine the "human ruled" and "technology ruled" to strengthen the training of digital sports governance subject ability, which will promote the transformation of sport governance paradigm and better help provide theoretical referenc for the modernization of sport governance system and its governance ability.
