Random forest models are constructed to predict the teams' medal numbers in different Olympic events based on a large data set of 1992-2021 Summer Olympic Games. It is found that apparent differences exist in the predictability of Olympic events. For the forecast of medals, the top three most predictable events are table tennis, badminton and swimming, while the bottom three are water polo, modern pentathlon and volleyball. With interpretable machine learning methods, the social-economic features are further investigated which have important effects on the performance of Olympic Games. The results show that: (1) For the same event, the prediction accuracy of women's events is usually higher than that of men's; (2) Factors like population, GDP per capita, and the game hosting have some influences on the medal numbers; (3) For specific Olympic events, some traditionally advantageous events like table tennis in China and athletics of the USA have a large impact on the medal forecast.
Based on eight copies of "The SHAPE of the Nation:Status of Physical Education in the USA" that were released in the United States in nearly 30 years, the study explored the current situation of physical education in primary and secondary schools from seven aspects of management, policy, curriculum, assessment, PE teacher, funding and physical activity. With the current situation of PE development in US, the inspirations from above were given to the PE in the schools of China, that is, to improve the management system of school physical education to stimulate the strength of social sports organizations; to promote the physical education curriculum standards to intensify the physical educational course development; to optimize the evaluation system of physical education learning to stress the students' physical literacy; to carry out the research on the positive effect to strengthen the cognition level of physical education; to carry out the continuous investigation of the status quo and regularly publish the research report; and to establish our country's situation of physical education with a dialectical view of foreign experience.
The integration of sports and education is an important issue in the development of sports and education in our country in the new era. A systematic literature review was offered based on the logic framework of "what, why and how", in which the research hotspots of the integration of sports and education in recent years were analyzed. It is found that existing reseaeches have given theoretical interpretations from multiple dimensions such as training mode, abstract cognition, realistic judgment, dialectical cognition, essence exploration, era development in terms of ''what is the integration of sports and education''. From the five dimensions of historical logic, theoretical logic, practical logic, educational logic and scientific logic, it analyzes ''why the integration of sports and education is put forward''. From the multi-dimensional influencing factors and the realization path , ''how to realize the integration of sports and education'' has been explored. The hot topics focus on the concept connotation, the logic of generation, influencing factors and the realization path of the integration of sports and education integration, featured with the trends of the expansion of research fields and scales, the increasingly abundant research content and methods, the returning of the reason in the relations between school sports and education, the sustainable development of competitive sports and the deepening of human's all-round development, etc. In the future, we should be oriented by problem awareness, build a solid ideological foundation through theory first and practice integration of sports and education, and implement the concept of integrated development of sports and education by solving practical problems.
Exploring the road of basketball development with Chinese characteristics is a key area of deepening the reform of China's sports system and mechanism, and an important symbol of moving towards a leading sporting nation. Using research methods of literature review, expert interviews, comparative analysis and logical reasoning, the three important stages of basketball development in China since the founding of New China were sorted out, as well as the origins of the road of development with Chinese characteristics. On the basis above, the connotation and development goals of basketball development with Chinese characteristics were proposed; the current dilemmas such as the governance of basketball's multiple subjects, the improvement of competitive levels, youth training system, high-quality industry development and the integration of multiple cultures were clarified. It build a future development path for basketball with Chinese characteristics from improving the basketball governance system and innovating the development mechanism of characteristic basketball, etc.
The current study mainly involves the development history, the status quo and the future directions of "performance analysis" (PA). PA stems from the notational analysis. With the change from method to methodology for more than a century of practice and research, it has gradually been considered as a newly emerging subdiscipline of sports science in the 21st century. The qualitative method, the quantitative method and a combination of the two methods are used in PA to directly describe and analyze "human movement", mainly including notational analysis method and motion analysis method. Generally, to better understand its definition, we need to analyze it from methodological and disciplinary aspects. Evaluation of technical and tactical performance, analysis of reliability and validity, load monitoring and interdisciplinary research are the research hotspots of PA. The emergence of related majors and the new occupation, such as performance analyst, has strongly driven the scientific development of sports training. So far it still faces some challenges in the aspects of theoretical basis, analytical techniques, talent cultivation and discipline influence, but PA's theoretical system will be improved, developing towards the direction of intelligence of analytical measures, the popularization of service objects and the professionalization of talent cultivation.
Using the methods of literature review, expert interviews, etc., the "body"(shen) in Chinese culture is interpreted as the starting point, and the body logic and practical mechanism of "shenfa" (body movement of practising wushu) is analyzed. From the perspective of etymology and quan classics, the bending in shenfa is mainly "determined by the spine", which is where shenfa is produced; the stretching in shenfa is to "extend with bending", following the ways the body changes, while the Qi in shenfa is to move body with Qi, serving as the internal logic of shenfa. Closely collected, the three above can further develop into three dimensions, that is, the bending moves starting with the waist, flexion-stretching moves in the mutual promotion between yin and yang, and the body moves with Qi. The practical mechanism of "shenfa" lies in the non-disciplinary rationality, multi-sense integrity, change-between-virtual-and-real effectiveness, and the theory-practice-in-unity complexion, etc. This spiritual body behavior deeply presents a Chinese-style body theory logic, so it can be regarded as a return to the era of its own ancient and dynamic cultural tradition.
Interdisciplinary learning in physical education curriculum allows students to use knowledge or skills of two or more desciplines to understand real life and solve problems in an interdisciplinary way. The basic requirements for its implementation are to meet the needs of students' life and attatch importance to the creation of various situations and the mutual integration of "the five educations" (that is, the education of morals, intelligence, physical fitness, work and aesthetics), as well as the deep immersion in the learning participation. The interdisciplinary learning in physical education curriculum needs to focus on the interdisciplinary thematic learning activities, in which the basic process includes "building interdisciplinary learning task group, putting forward problems to drive students' learning, teachers guiding students to solve problems, and comprehensively evaluating students' learning effects". For its implemantation guarantee, the curriculum implementer is required to change the traditional cognition on students' knowledge requisition, integrate knowledge resources of the related courses, promote the interdisciplinary teaching thinking and ability of PE teachers in various aspects, pinpoint the basic points of "the five educations" based on the core litearcy of sports and health discipline, and prevent all sorts of false phenomena in the interdisciplinary learning of physical education curriculum.
The newly revised Physical Education and Health Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education (2022 Edition) (Hereafter The New Curriculum Standard) by the Ministry of Education reflects the physical education and health curriculum system based on key competencies. The key competencies to be cultivated mainly refer to the correct values, essential characters and key abilities gradually formed by students through the curriculum, including athletic ability, healthy behavior and sport morality. The significance of cultivating key competencies lies in implementing the fundamental task of "fostering virtue through education", adhering to the education concept of "health first", cultivating students' lifelong athletic ability and healthy life style, and solving the practical problems existing in school physical education. The curriculum construction based on The New Curriculum Standard mainly includes curriculum objective, content, academic quality, teaching implementation and other elements, which are closely centered on key competencies. That is, the curriculum objective setting is based on key competencies, the content targeting at key competencies, teaching situation and methods conducive to key competencies, academic quality and evaluation involving key competencies. It is of great significance and long-term influence to promote the formation of students' key competencies and realize their physical and mental health, strong physique and all-round development.
The beneficial effects of exercise on health are well documented by evidence-based medicine, and it has been suggested that the health promotion of exercise is at least in part attributable to the "crosstalk" or "interaction" between organs (tissues) caused by exerkines released into the circulation by organs (tissues) during exercise. The classification, function and mechanism of exerkines are summarized, and the relationship between the myokines, adipokines, osteokines and hepatokines released by exercise and the occurrence and development of diseases is explained. It is believed that exercise-induced myokines, adipokines, osteokines and hepatokines can have a wide range of effects on the shape, structure, function and metabolism of the human body through "self-crosstalk" and "crosstalk" between organs (tissues) and organs (tissues), and participate in the maintenance of individual health. The effect of this crosstalk depends on the form of exercise, exercise intensity, exercise duration, exercise frequency and other factors. The conclusions can provide a new perspective for the understanding of the mechanism of exercise health promotion.
Based on the traditional theory of Tai Chi Shua Quan Lun and Shua Quan Jie and combined with its cultural practice of "shua quan" (that is, "playing boxing"), its cultural features and essence are revealed, trying to find its epistemological and practical senses as well as its subjective care. It is held that "shua quan" in Tai Chi, both with external forms and internal rules, can eliminate differentiation and increase interactions, thus to achieve mutual success, so it is characterized by relaxing body and mind, improving techniques and skills and arriving at transcendence. When people begin "shua quan" like a game, it makes them gradually develop a respectable and serious attitude, and finally move towards perfection, hence it is actually a process of self-realization.Tai Chi "shua quan" is a cultural embodiment of daily Dao, a philosophical expression of the world of life, and a physical training method that integrates sports into daily life. It is a method of practicing Tai Chi and a Chinese style physical cultivation, and a cultural pattern that leads the practitioner to a recurring life practice. It has a humanistic and therapeutic effect on life, and can contribute to the well-being of people's physical and mental health and happiness, and to the return of people's true nature with Chinese wisdom.
Literature review is adopted to discuss the frontier progress and dilemma research in the field of artificial intelligence to enhance sports performance at home and abroad. It is found that current AI to enhance sports performance mainly focus on the systematization of training and monitoring, the visualization of competitive ability and strategies, the refinement of psychological training and monitoring, as well as the scientific sports injury prevention and treatment. So far there exist such problems as insufficient driving force for AI to enhance sports performance, weak technology and system support, the ethics risks, the separated "subjectivity" of body in sports, information security, and the lacking in legal support, etc. Hence optimization strategies based on theory and technical research and development are put forward as follows: to strengthen system and legal support as well as the ethics and information security so as to construct the theoretical support and policy context of the AI in sport; to solidify scientific innovation basis and integrate technologies to break through barriers and activate the innovation-driven sporting AI.
On July 24, 2021, the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Further Reducing the Homework Burden and Off-campus Training Burden of Students in Compulsory Education (referred to as the "Double Reduction" policy).In order to interpret the deep impact of the "Double Reduction" policy on the health development of school sports and teenagers, as well as the response to school sports, 6 domestic experts were organized to conduct special discussions on the "'Double Reduction' policy and the development of school sports" in the form of written discussion.Ren Hai from Beijing Sports University believes that the core problem of school sports is how to make students become active from passive participation.The "not serious""play" carries a very serious educational mission and provides indispensable physical and spiritual nourishment for the healthy growth of children."Play" is the soul of school physical education in the compulsory education stage.Therefore, the advantage of the policy of "Double Reduction" should be taken to let "students enjoy fun in physical exercise" and turn "passive sports" into "active sports" through "play".Mao Zhenming from Beijing Normal University holds that the practical problems of Chinese education and the profound meaning of "Double Reduction" should be examined from the perspective of China's development in the new era."Double Reduction" policy is not only the "opportunity" needed to be grasped but also the "danger" to be vigilant on.Students should be made up for the physical health through "Double Reduction" policy, the specialized schools were built with the integration of sport and education, "teaching, regular practice and often competition" of sports courses were realized and students' academic evaluation of physical education and the evaluation for entrance examination were promoted, combining physical education with labor, national defense, security, science and technology and art education.Tang Yan from Shanghai University of Sport believes that school physical education should use the actual time from the potential time obtained from the "Double Reduction" policy.That is, sports departments in higher education, school sports research institutes and physical education teaching and research institutions at all levels should closely cooperate to establish the integrated sports skills level standards, according to the sports construction from the basic action skills to special sports skills.Primary and secondary schools must break the existing physical education curriculum arrangement to carry out physical education teaching; rather, they should follow the principles of sports interest to organize teaching, and those graduate with obvious sports advantage can be recruited to be the primary and secondary school physical education teachers, who could replan the way of campus sports activities, with reference to the new school sports work requirements of "teaching, regular practice and often competition".Wang Xiaozan from East China Normal University considers that with the "Double Reduction" policy, school sports should do "three stick-to": stick to the main position of school sports to make the sports field a warm place; stick to the bottom line of avoiding youth physical health's declining and share the good of school sports for all; stick to the function and value of sports and let students enjoy the "fun" of sports.At the same time, "three breakthroughs" should be achieved: break through the inherent educational thinking, that is, "traditional sports" should be transformed to "new era sports"; break through the inherent teaching mode, i.e., we should begin from "lone fighting" to "home-school-social linkage"; break through the inherent evaluation system, that is, "single evaluation" should be changed to "comprehensive evaluation".Shao Weide from Zhejiang Normal University thinks "a main body, two main lines, three guarantees" of the quality of extracurricular sports activities path should be formed, namely, "sports club" as the main body, "sports competitions" and "hierarchical management"as the main lines, and "policy regulations", "school support" and "internal and external school cooperation " as the guarantee to improve the quality of extracurricular sports activities, based on the "Double Reduction" policy for the reform of extracurricular sports activities.Xu Agen from Shanghai Xinzhong Senior High School believes that, the practice strategy of school physical education should be optimized in terms of sports teaching concept and methods, physical education curriculum and content, school sports activities and competitions under the background of "Double Reduction" policy, so as to lay the foundation for "building a good ecology of education and promoting the all-round development and healthy growth of students".
The three dimensions of cultivating students through sport competitions in the new era is the basic category and theoretical system of cognitive dimension, value dimension and practice dimension formed by school sports, which answers the questions of what sport competition is, why and how to do it. At the category of cognitive dimension, student sport competitions act as an important support for "promoting the all-round development with sport competitions", a key carrier for "shaping culture through competitions", and a major means for "cultivating talents by competitions". At the category of value dimension, student sport competitions have the general value of realizing the healthy growth of students through integrated sports experience, supporting the cultivation of innovative talents through progressive game thinking spectrum, and the special value of implementing the integration strategy of sports and education in the form of inclusive sports education, cultivating the Chinese sportsmanship in the form of diversified physical activities. At the category of practical dimension, the development of student sport competitions is:to strengthen the systematic concepts and promotes the innovation of competitions, to improve the institutional mechanism and realize the integration of competitions, and to enhance the supply methods and expand the number of participants.
The research status of physical-medical integration, including national fund projects, dissertations, and periodical articles and so on, were summarized by literature review.It is found that although China's physical-medical integration research has made great achievements, there are still some problems in the requirements of Healthy China and sports power for physical-medical integration.Conclusions are drawn that the research of physical-medical integration has been paid gradual attention to, with more financial support by national bodies, related topics in more dissertations, the expanded research topics, as well as some valuable viewpoints to be proposed.There are still some problems.In the selection of research issues, the integration of physical-medical integration model is mainly in modern sports and western medicine while the research of China's model is insufficient.There are also no adequate multidisciplinary perspectives and application of clinical methods and experimental methods of social science, with low standardization level of research tools and insufficient accumulation of literature.Furthermore, the international voice is still limited and the support from the National Natural Fund and the National Science and Technology Support Scheme is inadequate.The future researchers should formulate key issues, identify research targets, choose the direction of innovation breakthrough, improve the quality of the dissertation, increase the support of the National Fund, and focus on the transformation and application of results.
The question of "What is sport?" is the core issue in the current research in philosophy of sport, on which the ontological meditation has formed the reconstruction of the thought and theory of sport philosophy embodied in the changing process between the ontological thinking mode and the construction of the ontological theory in general philosophy. As two basic ontological thinking modes, "Being" and "To be" are the logical development of the ontological thinking of sports philosophy. The former emphasizes the concept of ontology, while the latter emphasizes its structure. Both of them have formed their own ontological theory evolution in the history of Chinese and Western philosophy of sport. The Western analytical philosophy and the continental philosophy tradition respectively form the "game theory" and "body theory" on the ontological thinking on sport, while the Chinese traditional philosophy tries to mix the two ontological thinking modes to form the "purpose theory" and "humanism theory". Under the background of the integration of Chinese and Western philosophy, "anthropological historical ontology" integrates two ontological thinking modes of "Being" and "To be" into the generation process of human history and psychological structure, so as to reconstruct the ontological research on philosophy of sport and the exploration of the thinking mode of "question and answer", and establishes the human general knowledge in sports practice. Then, in the field of form, it steps across the gap lying between "meditation" and "speech" triggered by sports practice, and complete the reconsideration of sports philosophy theory and subject tasks.
The digital economy promotes the integration of sports industry into the "dual circulation" new development pattern by enabling data elements, laying out the "new infrastructure" of sport, innovating sport digital governance, and promoting the digital development of sports service trade. At present, however, there are some problems in the integration of the digital economy enabling sports industry into the new development pattern, such as the low level of development and utilization of data elements, the unbalanced construction of digital infrastructure, the shortage of digital technology personnel, the imperfect digital governance system, and the incomplete cross-border data flow policy. Therefore, the path for the digital economy is put forward to enable the sports industry to integrate into the new development pattern of "dual circulation", that is, promoting the "new infrastructure" of sport thus to produce the development momentum, cultivating the data market elements for sport thus to expand its market element supply, strengthening the training of talents for digital sport to lay a solid talent support, establishing a co-governance pattern with the participation of multiple subjects to consolidate its basic guarantee, and accelerating the development of digital trade for sport, thus to open up the external channel of sports industry to integrate into the "dual circulation".
Modern football intelligent monitoring technology utilizes computer vision and data analysis methods to monitor and analyze events and data on the field, aiming to optimize team tactics, integrate training plans, and evaluate players' performance. Compared to other monitoring technologies, intelligent monitoring technology minimizes interference with players' technical actions, exhibiting a greater adaptability to the environment. In fine-grained recognition tasks of individual events such as ball control and passing, intelligent monitoring technology demonstrates superior performances; while in global tactical analysis and player performance evaluation, it showcases a precise data mining and intuitive visual analysis. Furthermore, the referee assistance module within football intelligent monitoring technology contributes to establishing a more objective and accurate refereeing mechanism, ensuring fairness in competition, enhancing the viewing experience of football matches, and fostering improvements in refereeing standards.
Using the methods of literature review and content analysis, the "subject-tool-content" three-dimensional analysis framework is established to conduct a quantitative comparison of the three editions of Chinese physical education and health curriculum standards for compulsory education. It is held that from the perspective of subject evolution, students as the subject status are prominent while other subjects' show a downward trend in curriculum standards. In terms of tool development, environment-based policy tools have strong universality while the application of supply and demand policy tools needs to be innovated. As for the content change, PMC index has been increased from edition to edition, with both convergence and divergence for the evolution of various policy variables. For the overall evaluation, there is still room for the improvement in the content design such as the collaborative participation of various subjects, the distribution balance of the three types of policy tools and the nature of policy, policy intervention, policy area, and supporting measures, etc. Suggestions are to grasp the overall interests and coordinate local relations to shape the collaborative promotion mechanism of PE and health curriculum reform, optimize the ratio of supply and demand policy tools to shape the "policy toolbox" of PE and health curriculum reform, and to strengthen the local and school-based PE curriculum policy design to shape the policy innovation and reproduction of PE and health curriculum reform.
The construction of sports course with Chinese characteristics (SCWCC) from the perspective of "Five-education Integration" (FEI) is not only a response to the new requirements of China's education reform and development in the new era, but also a practical exploration to implement the concept of FEI as education concept in curriculum construction. It is believed that the value orientation of the SCWCC based on the FEI is an all-round development towards "humanization", the inter-subjectivity undertakes its philosophical basis, while the embodied cognition theory plays a supporting role as the basis of pedagogy for the design and implementation of the curriculum. Based on the practical exploration of "Chinese Archery" course, the practical path is put forward to realize the construction of SCWCC based on the FEI: starting from the top-level design to make overall planning and implementation strategies to ensure the systematic promotion of the FEI physical education curriculum construction; attaching importance to the "interactive subjectivity" of teachers and students by design dynamic and open course content to promote the renewal of teachers' teaching concept; building a teaching ecological environment that integrates physical education and multi-disciplines to improve teachers' "control ability" and "integration ability" of FEI; and promoting the collaboration of multiple departments and disciplines within and outside the university to realize a curriculum construction platform with multiple subjects that integrates physical education and multi-disciplines.
